21 Years

The garden is a brilliant site for making and exhibiting art. Many painters and sculptors exhibit in the Visitor Centre and art societies hold group shows.

When Krubi Dreamt of Bahmai A Host of Fallen Angels

The Friends, with 'The Old Studio', Ventnor, hosted Life Cycle, a sculpture trail at Ventnor Botanic Garden by the sculptor Frances Doherty. Jane Denman produced artwork for the brochures.

Particularly interesting for visitors was to find that the sculptures have been placed to take advantage of the garden setting.

The sculpture trail was largely based on photographs and drawings made through the seasons at Ventnor Botanic Garden.
